There were over 300 exhibitors and over 1300 entrees at this year’s fair. The Fair Board is very proud of each and every 4H and FFA student that participated. These young people are some of the hardest working and dedicated around.
The Logan County Lincoln Day Dinner was held this past Saturday evening at First National Bank Community Center in Paris. The dinner, a function of the Logan County Republican Party, was well attended, highly successful, and enjoyed by all.

Booneville is once again host for the Arkansas Marathon. This will be the 53rd annual running of the Marathon, the longest running race in the state. Along with the full (26.2 miles) race, there is a half (13.1), 10K, and the Mayor’s 5K run/walk.
The gathering for the October 20th meeting of the Booneville Garden Club took place at Pizza Italia. We had a great turnout and our business meeting was productive.

Hello South Logan County, this is your Booneville City Hall with a September update.
Our year-long fundraising efforts have fallen short of our goal to apply for a 50/50 grant at the end of August for the Splash Pad. The South Logan County Splash Pad Committee will continue to raise funds throughout 2022.
