Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics
Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics. On Monday, May 9th, several local law enforcement officers participated in the Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run. Officers from all over the state carried the Flame of Hope through their communities. Wednesday morning, the four torches came together to form the Final Leg Torch, with officers making the final run to Searcy for the Flame of Hope lighting ceremony. This will kick off the Arkansas Special Olympics Summer Games, being held May 12th & 13th in Searcy at Harding University. The Logan County run began at BHDC, went through Booneville, Magazine, Paris, and ended at Subiaco.
